A New Day and a New Way
It is my firm belief and experience over time that everything that unfolds in our lives is an expression of Divine Consciousness. Everything! Look at nature. Look at the cycles. Something is always being destroyed so something new can be birthed. Destruction and birth. It is perpetual.
Maybe you’re like me always trying to set things up, plan for every eventuality, trying to create situations that are fail-safe so there will be no disasters, no bumps, not even any discomfort. Situations where nothing can “go wrong”. I finally realized it’s not within my power to do this and I’ve also learned that I would be doing myself a great disservice if I could. I would just stay stuck and wouldn’t learn the exact things I need for my expansion and growth.
Experiencing adversity is part of the setup of life and I’ve come to understand that no matter what is happening – illness, loss of job, loss of loved ones, financial set-back, there is always something to help me move forward on my path. Adversity is inevitable and necessary for the evolution of life. And it is often when something dramatic and painful happens in our lives that a spiritual awakening occurs, because we are forced to look at things more deeply and place our anchor into something lasting and eternal. People almost never awaken spiritually while living safely in their comfort zones.
And at the same time, we know it’s important to ask for what we want and create visions, because that’s in large part how we manifest good outcomes. However, there will always be challenges. There will always be times we are forced to stretch and times when things feel hopeless. It’s going through these challenges that prepares us to receive what we’ve asked for.
It’s how Creation evolves on every level and in every kingdom – plant, animal and human. If we are unable to surrender and trust the process, if we resist and continue to blame and be angry, we will be unable to learn the lessons that could take us to the next level of our evolution.
In my experience, it becomes a much more fun and pleasant ride if I embrace (in time) everything that comes, knowing that everything that happens is happening for my growth and upliftment and for the collective growth and upliftment no matter how it may look in the moment.
The more we strive to be in alignment with the Flow of Life, through recognition of the good in our lives, surrender & trust that we are supported and focus on positive outcomes, the more good will come to us and the better we will get at embracing the challenges and turning them to our advantage.
As we navigate all of the nuances of this mammoth challenge we are now facing, Covid 19, we can look for opportunities to uplift our perspective, to live our lives more consciously, to find new ways to connect and to extend kindness toward others. In other words, to prepare for a return, at last, to harmony and love.
I don’t think we will be able to go back to our old familiar ways. New ways are emerging. More people are waking up to their truth and courage, even in the midst of chaos and fear.
“The energy has shifted during your time of stillness. When you come back into what you call reality and begin to create again, it will be in a new realm. Everything will be anew… each one of you will go back into opportunities to find things that are a better match for you energetically in everything that you do… Remember the silence.” ~Steve Rother
